Xiaobin HE (何晓斌) received his BA and MA in sociology from Renmin University of China in 2000 and 2003. He received his MS degree in statistics and Ph.D. in sociology in 2006 and 2010 from Stanford University. Before working at Tsinghua University, He was an assistant professor at the School of Management at Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Fudan University. His research interests focus on organizational and economic sociology, urban sociology, entrepreneurship and Innovation, quantitative sociology, etc. He has published more than 20 research papers in Chinese and English journals and one book in English. His research published in good journals such as Social Science Research, Computers in Human Behavior, Development and Change, Economic Research Journal (in Chinese) and Management World (in Chinese). He has been in charge of or participated in seven State-funded research projects. His recent research topics include political strategies of Chinese new ventures, the subjective well-being of Chinese urban citizens, organizational social capital and performance, leadership, and innovation etc.
